We are delighted to announce the launch of FIELDWORK, our Women’s Business Mastermind. The run-it-back, but go bolder edition. In 2020, before the arrival of the pandemic, we gathered for a feminine business immersion with over 100 women. Little did we know how much we’d all need each other. Little did we know how much would be born and raised during those tender and tenuous months— our businesses, our children, and US.
It’s pretty cool to have the long view of that and what has transpired for all who gathered with us then. And honestly, we feel we are at the gate of those tenuous times again. We are ready for this structure— ready for the impact— ready to help midwife the opportunities born of chaos— ready to build the world we want to belong to.
Kimberly is bringing her mastery in embodiment and the female nervous system, alongside all the learnings as she journeyed from a $70k practice to her seven-figure business, her experience in publishing and PR, marketing and sales and the kind of advice earned by building a business while single mothering.
Ash is bringing over two decades of business ownership, CEO experience, and thousands of hours of consulting women entrepreneurs… and a lifetime of dinner table talk about creativity, entrepreneurship and doing what’s in front of you, thanks to my wild and wonderful family.
Together we bring the kind of guts and heart it takes to work closely with another woman for ten years— the failures and celebrations, the ruptures and repairs, the passion for life, purpose in work, and love for each other that kept it all together. We keep it real. We' love what we do. We hate parts of our ‘jobs’. We laugh more than most people. We work hard and we work smart- we have to because we are breadwinners. Most of all, we care deeply— about each other, about our families and communities, and about your work.
This round is for you if you are ready for sustainable scale, a business that fits within your life (not the other way round), and/or you are ready to do your big work— that of bringing a book, a body of work, your legacy to life. We all need structure and resourcing to actually make that happen— it may look easy from the outside, but trust us… we are the ducks gliding while paddling madly below the surface. Kimberly
I’m a single mom to an 18 year old daughter who is going to college abroad in the fall. The calling of motherhood has dictated most of my personal and professional decisions, as well as the direction of my work. I got married two years ago to a Brazilian man, and we are just now living together for the first time.
As a Somatic Experiencing™ Practitioner, educator, and author, I help women heal trauma, awaken their power and feel at home in their bodies to start living life on their own terms. I’ve always had a deep knowing that I was in this world to change things for the better. All of that came into sharp focus though, when I became a mother. My whole life changed completely in that moment, I had to learn a new way of being in the world. That gave me the “what”. Learning the Somatic Experiencing™ tools and having my world rearranged all over again in that experience gave me the “how”. Now, I use my training, education, experience, and advocacy to help women get closer to their blueprints, unpack all those layers of habits and conditioning, so they can hear what their body’s telling them, and know who they really are.
I’ve been babysitting since I was 11, worked as a waitress in New York City, as a street vendor in Rio de Janeiro, a 20+ classes a week yoga teacher and taught yoga teacher training across the world. I’ve had a full Sexological Bodywork practice helping women heal from birth injuries, gynecological surgeries and sexual boundary rupture. I travelled all over Brazil teaching about the integration of women’s sexuality and spirituality. I wrote a book proposal when it seems like no one would care about postpartum health. Since then I’ve sold 5 books and accessory projects. I’ve published at a spiritual house (Shambhala), a big five house (HarperWave), and self-published (Reckoning, with Stephen Jenkinson). I’m currently completing a book with Sounds True.
I took my first Business Mastermind in 2011. I taught my first online course as a collaborator in 2013 with Lucas Rockwood of Yoga Body Naturals. Two years later, I taught my own material on sexuality and spirituality on the Viva Institute platform- the same year I did my first program with Ash, where we did a trade! In 2017, I took the big leap to have someone help me figure out the technology of hosting and teaching myself and Activate Your Inner Jaguar was born. I’ve been teaching on Zoom ever since and have taught 16,000 women in feminine embodiment, money and the nervous system, limits and boundaries, and sexual awakening. I started a podcast as a passion project that now has over 1.4 million unique downloads.
I’m equally as proud of the community that we’ve built. We were able to fund a Black single mother to go to art school for a year, as well as raise 85K for a Black-owned birth center here in San Diego, as well as support a community member’s unexpected early birth. I’ve created a business where I can give sessions away and offer a lot of scholarships for courses, because it’s profitable. I have a deep savings and retirement account, and I just started saving seven years ago.
Ash has been my secret weapon for the last ten years. There are so many decisions, big and small, to make in business. You need someone who can cut through the noise. Ash is wicked smart, grounded- number wise, three steps ahead of impact, deeply practical, and has razor sharp discernment.

I’m the strategist standing behind many entrepreneurs who are changing the world. I’m a woman, wife, daughter, and mother of two, bonus mom to one, ages 10 to 14. I value aliveness, integrity, courage, humanness, and the immense beauty of the living system of our world.
As an entrepreneur for most of my career, I spent most of my time creating and building, not consulting. This deepens my understanding of what it takes for my clients to juggle the demands of running a business and building a life. I don’t believe in balance; I believe in integration and if we’re lucky- harmony. As we bring more of the wholeness of who we are to to each part of life, the impossible becomes possible.
I have bootstrapped two of my own startups; raised over $12M in funding; sold my business to a public company in 2008, maintain an active corporate consulting business, and have resourced over 1,000 women business owners in my career. I come from a family of entrepreneurs, and have personally worked in both product and service businesses across many industries, including early education, maternal health, fitness, medicine, CPG, franchise and technology.
I am a stand for building Business WITH Life, guiding women to wield their authentic power, and creating real communities of support-- like this one. I’m delighted to be here in support of who you are, and what you are creating in your work, business, or for your legacy that will make a meaningful and positive difference in our world.
I began my work with Kimberly while pregnant with my daughter. We setup some kind of barter — my business mastermind program—in person with 8 other women— for bodywork, a birth rehearsal and revelatory dialogue about embodiment and the feminine nervous system. The work that would make it’s way online and onto book shelves within 5 years. A bit about my postpartum time is even featured in Kimberly’s Fourth Trimester book. Kimberly’s passion for her body of work and joie de vivre inspires me to this day— her leadership is bold AF, smart as hell and kind of superhuman.
Since those early days, we’ve worked together on her business (and books, and projects, and fundraising, and side hustles), taught together, and helped other women launch their businesses and big projects. I think we’re at our best— masters of coherence and alignment— when we bring our business and strategy work out from behind the curtain. It’s WAY more fun doing it together.
